Our Story & Promise to You
One February Sunday in 2015, a father was taking his son out to a candy store as a reward for a hard-earned A in Biology. Curious, he glanced at the ingredients on the back of a package of chocolate candies- and was shocked. As an avid and self-proclaimed "foodie", he resolved from that moment to do something. He contacted his old friend, an acclaimed chef, and an idea were born. This father, Adam Smith and chef, Marielle Ortiz launched La Vie du Chocolat in April of 2016 with a promise. Our promise is this- to use only whole, natural, fairtrade and organic ingredients to craft high-quality, premium and homemade chocolates and confections for a delicious experience free of chemicals and filled with nothing but the good stuff.
